The Eastern Apicultural Society Annual meeting in the year 2000 will be held on the beautiful campus of Salisbury State University, Salisbury, Md., on Maryland's fabled Eastern Shore. Salisbury State also was the setting for EAS 1990. Those who attended then may remember the convenience of the campus. The terrain is level and dormitories, meeting, exhibitor rooms, and cafeteria are all within easy walking distance from one another. But since that meeting, Salisbury State has built a new, larger cafeteria and additional dorms. The campus is more beautiful than ever.
Salisbury is located in the heart of the Eastern Shore, halfway between the Ocean City (O.C. to the locals) on the Atlantic Ocean, with it's beautiful beaches and boardwalk, and the famous Chesapeake Bay, noted for it's sailing, blue crabs, watermen and history.
